TOM PERRY

Tom, co-owner of Sunnyside, joined the staff in 1976 and makes sure the nursery runs smoothly. As our greengoods buyer,Tom guarantees our plants are of the highest quality and the diversity of selection keeps pace with Sunnyside's discriminating and knowledgable clientele. At Sunnyside, plant quality is just as important as customer satisfaction. If a plant is available, Tom makes sure Sunnyside will have it.

ROSS PERRY

Co-owner, Ross has been on board with Sunnyside since 1979 where customer satisfaction is his highest priority. Ross supervises soil , fertilizer and hardgood purchases. If you need a special pot or garden ornament, Ross is the man at Sunnyside to find it for you. With his 23 years of experience at Sunnyside, Ross can help answer your gardening questions.

CHRIS BIKLE

Chris works in the bedding plant department at Sunnyside. She can help you personalize your garden with unique plant selections. Chris also has a great knowledge of orchids and loves to help with your orchid questions. Chris has been with Sunnyside since 1999.

JOHN LILL

John has been working in gardens and in the nursery industry for over 20 years. An avid hiker and backpacker, John can help you with wildflowers and native plant identification. He can also help with garden layout, design and plant selection. John has been a member of the Sunnyside team since 1998.

PAGET LEH LENARZ

Paget started her career at Sunnyside as an irrigation technician at our growing grounds in Fairfax in 1986. Since that time, Paget has become an Advanced Certified Nursery Professional #2548 and a Licenced Landscape Architect Lic. #3822. Paget excels in landscape design and plant selection. A former bedding plant buyer, Paget brings a wealth of knowledge in all areas of the garden including water plants and ornamental grasses.

RAMIRO AGUILLAR

For over sixteen years, Ramiro has been with us at our growing grounds keeping everything working right.If something is broken,Ramiro can probably fix it.Ramiro alsohelps the maintenance crew recieve, plant and water the five acres of plant material at our Fairfaxgrowing grounds, or as we call it, The Ranch.








CRUZ AVILA

Cruz is in his third year at Sunnyside.  From unloading trucks to making sure the plants are all watered, Cruz takes pride in making sure the plant you buy is in great shape.



PETE MASON
Pete is in his twenty-second year at Sunnyside and has done it all for us.  Pete has watered, weeded, loaded and unloaded trucks and been our main man at "The Ranch".  If we don't have it in San Anselmo, chances are we have it in Fairfax and Pete will cheerfully help you find it.


WALDEN VALEN
Walden is in his third season with us at Sunnyside.  As the retired director of the Strybing Arboretum,  Walt brings a lifetime of knowledge in all areas of plant and tree identification.  If you need help selecting the correct plant for a special situation or just figuring out what is this, Walt is here on the weekends to help you out.



LUANNA HELFMAN
Luanna has been in the fold at Sunnyside for fifteen seasons.  Luanna has designed over 400 gardens in Marin county in the last 30 years.  Her experience helps her in her duties as bedding and native plant buyer.  An avid bird naturalist, Luanna can help you with specialplant selections for wildlife friendly bird and butterfly, vegetable or cutting gardens.  She can also help design your deer resistant, drought tolerant garden.

LARRY MACDOUGALD
Larry THE RHODIE MAN Macdougald has been at home at Sunnyside for forty one years.  His love of rhododendrons and azaleas has resulted in his expertise in this field.  If you want to talk rhodies, come on down and look Larry up.  Larry also finds our beautiful orchids and indoor color for us.


MARY ALLEN
Although Mary is only in her second season at Sunnyside, she is not new to the Marin County nursery trade.  With expertise in design and planning gardens, Mary can help you find just the right solution for your garden needs.  Mary also loves to put together beautiful color bowls and urns.  Bring you special pot in and Mary will turn it into a masterpiece!
